【About FHED】

The International Conference on Future Healthcare and Economic Development (FHED) has been organized by the Medical Device Innovation Center (MDIC), National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), a Center of Excellence, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, since 2015. This annual conference raises the issues of challenges and future trends in the health tech innovation and ecosystem and connects with at least 40 countries from Southern and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and Latin America.

MDIC has created a strong global network to tackle global healthcare challenges. This Conference will bring together educators, researchers, clinicians, experts, and venture capitalists who are engaged in digital health to discuss the issues of changes, challenges and future trends in digital health tech innovations and implementations from hospital to home. 

This year, the FHED conference is scheduled to occur from Monday, October 28, to Friday, November 1, with a focus on the theme "Digital Health Tech from Hospital to Home." The objective of the event is to capitalize on Taiwan's strengths and expertise in smart healthcare and the healthcare sector to facilitate international biomedical academic exchanges and technological collaborations. Additionally, the conference aims to enhance the visibility of National Cheng Kung University and Taiwan as a whole, while promoting diverse models of cooperation.
