In this episode, we invited Mr. Aaron Choong, Deputy Director of Overseas Students and Scholar Service Division, OIA, NCKU, to gave a presentation about the preparation to study in Taiwan during this Covid-19 pandemic situation, which included pre-arrival preparation, traveling and quarantine, also the process after self-health management.
Moreover, our host (Ms. Kanjana Chaitika, Pim) from Medical Device Innovation Center who are also an NCKU international Thai student alumnus did have a sharing session with our two new southbound NCKU student guests, Mr. Sarayut Manojirapipat (Tee) from Thailand and Ms. Karen Lam from Vietnam. Both of our guests are currently the second semester NCKU Biomedical Engineering Students, who just only arrived in Taiwan last year during the Covid pandemic.
Three of them had been sharing so much information and their personal experiences start from NCKU Admission preparation steps until what did they face after arriving in Taiwan. How much money they had to prepare, where they could buy the living stuffs, how to find a place or dorm to stay, the important resources that the NCKU students should know, how to practice Chinese, etc.
