Prof. Matthew O'Donnell ( 美國工程院院士)
Department of Bioengineering, University of Washington, USA
Professor Matthew O’Donnell為美國華盛頓大學醫學工程學系(Department of Bioengineering, University of Washington)的教授，曾於2009年擔任美國華盛頓大學的工學院院長，更為電機電子工程學會(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE)以及美國醫學與生物工程研究院(American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, AIMBE)的Fellow。Professor Matthew O’Donnell教授曾於美國路易斯華盛頓大學(Washington University in St. Louis)以及美國耶魯大學(Yale University)擔任研究員。並曾工作於美國通用電子公司研究發展中心(General Electric Corporate Research and Development Center)進行超音波、電腦斷層以及核磁共振的影像系統開發，在超音波領域已有40年的豐富經驗。目前其研究領域著重於醫學成像技術(Biomedical Imaging)、光聲成像技術(Photoacoustics)、超音波成像技術(Ultrasonics)以及分子造影劑(Molecular Contrast Agents)。其於超音波耕耘的努力更讓Professor Matthew O’Donnell於2017年榮獲得超音波學會(IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control, IEEE UFFC)頒發之Rayleigh Award，為超音波學會之最高榮譽。
